YG ENTERTAINMENT announced on the 30th, “BABYMONSTER will release their 3rd mini album [CHOOM] on May 4.”

YG ENTERTAINMENT also posted ‘BABYMONSTER 3rd MINI ALBUM [CHOOM]’ on its official blog to share the news. In line with the 2026 YG plan previously revealed by Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK, the comeback date has now been officially confirmed, along with the release of a motion teaser offering a glimpse into the new album’s concept.

The teaser stands out with its dynamic visuals. A racing car appears alongside a powerful beat, roaring to life as it speeds forward. Along its trail, the ‘CHOOM’ logo emerges vividly, instantly heightening viewers’ excitement.

The powerful motion teaser hints at a unique concept, driving fan anticipation to its peak. While detailed information remains under wraps, YANG HYUN SUK previously described it as “a completely new album unlike anything released before,” drawing attention to what kind of transformation BABYMONSTER will showcase this time.

YG stated, “As the title suggests, the 3rd mini album [CHOOM] captures thrilling moments where music and dance come together as one.” They added, “With the title track of the same name at the forefront, we have poured great effort into ensuring that listeners can experience an even broader musical spectrum unique to BABYMONSTER throughout the album.
